Chapter 16 Music. Music and Emotions Music is the language of the emotions. The two extremes in music are spiritual and earthy music. Spiritual music uplifts the higher aspects of being human and earthy music is more forceful. Bach brings out our grace and beauty, and ZZ-Top gives music with lusty rhythms.
